First off, processing is a multi-step workflow. Day 1 is usually "Data Verification," followed by 1-2 days of "Batch Production," and finally a full day of "Quality Control." Some high-end vendors now offer a "milestone tracker" on their site where you can see which stage your order is currently in. Let’s talk about realistic expectations.
Production Milestones to Look For
- Payment Confirmation: The first and most important step. Without this, production doesn’t even start.
- Data Review: A technician manually checks your name, address, and photo for any errors.
- Card Printing and Lamination: The physical creation of your ID using industrial-grade equipment.
- Final QC and Scanning: The most critical step—ensuring everything is perfect before it’s packaged for shipping.
