Discussion: Is International Shipping Actually Available and Secure Lately?
Following up on our earlier discussions about international shipping, I wanted to start a fresh thread to see what the current market is like for "global delivery." We know that many vendors claim to ship worldwide, but are there any new couriers or "stealth" methods that are proving to be particularly effective? I wanted to start a discussion about international shipping security and reliability. How do we get our cards delivered safely abroad?
In my experience, international shipping is quite secure if the vendor uses discreet packaging and reputable couriers. However, it does add a layer of complexity. You can expect international orders to take 2-4 weeks on average. Let’s talk about realistic timelines and how to minimize the risks. How do we stay safe?
What to Consider with International Shipping
- Stealth Packaging Methods: Ask your vendor what specific "stealth" methods they use for international orders. The more mundane the package looks, the better.
- Customs Reship Policy: Make sure you understand the vendor’s policy if a package is held by customs. A reputable shop will offer at least one free reship.
- Tracking Reliability: International tracking can be slow. Use a global tracking site like 17track for the most detailed updates.
I’ve successfully received orders in both the UK and Canada recently and the packaging was brilliant. The cards arrived in perfect condition and there were no issues with customs. What have your recent experiences been? Have you found any vendors who are particularly great (or slow) with international shipping lately? Let’s share our "world-wide" delivery stats and help everyone stay informed.
