First off, privacy starts with how you acquire your crypto. If you’re using a "KYC" exchange like Coinbase, the transaction is linked to your real identity. If privacy is a major concern, you might want to look into using a non-KYC exchange or a "mixer" service before sending payment to a vendor. This adds an extra layer of anonymity. Tips for Private and Secure Payments
- Use a Private Wallet: Always send payment from a wallet where you control the private keys (like Electrum or Wasabi).
- Monitor the Blockchain: Use a blockchain explorer to track your transaction. Once it has 2-3 confirmations, you know the vendor will see it soon.
- Contact Support if Delayed: If your payment hasn’t been confirmed after 24 hours (and the blockchain says it’s confirmed), reach out to the vendor’s support team with your transaction ID.
