Following up on our earlier discussion about reordering, I wanted to address some of the more specific questions that have come up. We know that vendors usually keep data for a short time, but what about the actual "logistics" of a reorder? Do you get a discount? Is it faster? Can you change your address or photo without it being a "new" order? Let’s clear some of this up.

Most vendors see a reorder as a "new" order but with a faster data verification stage. If you want to change your address or photo, it’s usually better to just place a new order. Trying to "modify" an old order can often lead to confusion and mistakes in the production line. However, if you just want a second copy of exactly the same card, a reorder is very straightforward.

Tips for a Smooth Reorder Experience

  • Keep Your Previous Order Info: Having your original order number makes everything ten times faster.
  • Check for Loyalty Codes: Some vendors send out discount codes specifically for returning customers. Always check your email before you buy.
  • Verify Current Designs: If it’s been more than 6 months since your last order, double-check that the state hasn’t updated its design. You want the latest and greatest!
