Discussion: More Advice Needed on State Selection for Specific Regions (Part 2)
Building on our previous discussions about choosing a state, I wanted to focus on some more specific regional advice for members. We’ve covered general strategies, but what about someone who needs a card that will be used in the South versus the West Coast? Or someone who wants a state that is physically "far away" to avoid local scrutiny? Let’s talk about strategic state selection. How do we choose the best one for our area?
For some people, choosing a state that is physically "far away" is the best strategy. The logic is that people in your local area might not be familiar with the security features of a state from across the country. However, others argue that choosing a neighboring state is better because it’s more common to see them. Let’s talk about the trade-offs. What works best in your experience?
Top Recommended States for Different Regions
- The South: Georgia or North Carolina are great "local" options that top vendors have perfected.
- East Coast: Look for states with standard but secure designs like Utah or Oregon if you want something "exotic."
- West Coast: Pennsylvania or the new Texas design are often good choices for the same reason.
I’m currently leaning towards Oregon for my next order because I love the modern look and the top vendors seem to have it nailed. What are your thoughts? For those who have been around for a while, which states have you found to be the most "reliable" in different regions? Let’s share our strategic tips and help everyone make a smart choice.
