Discussion: More State Selection Advice Needed
Building on our previous discussion about choosing a state, I wanted to ask for some more specific advice. If you’re looking for a state that is currently "easier" to pass in the US, which ones are you guys finding most successful? I know it often depends on where you are using it, but are there certain states that are just better-known for quality in the novelty market right now?
Some people say that choosing a state "far away" is better because local folks might not be as familiar with the security features. Others argue that choosing a neighbor state is better because it’s more common to see them. I’d love to hear your thoughts on this strategy.
Current Trending States for Quality
- Pennsylvania: Both the horizontal and vertical designs are currently very high-quality from several top vendors.
- Arizona: The desert design is popular and the latest novelty versions have excellent laser perforation.
- Florida: The new design is complex, but the vendors who get it right are producing some amazing cards.
I’m also curious about Canadian provinces. Is it better to stick with a big one like Ontario or BC, or go with a smaller one like Manitoba?
